Help shape our Chameleon Club

For gluten-free kids and teens (4-16)

With 200+ symptoms, coeliac disease is often called a clinical chameleon.

The Chameleon Club will be a fun, supportive program for kids and teens living gluten free.

Through games, badges, workshops and online activities, they’ll learn how to stay safe, eat well, and connect with others who understand.

While it’s early stages Coeliac Australia is thinking:

  • Mini Chameleons (4 – 8)
  • Chameleon Club (8 – 16)

We are gauging early interest to help shape the Chameleon Club’s design, locations, and events.

Coeliac Australia would love your input to help build Chameleon Club to make life easier, more confident, and more connected – starting with your ideas.

    Consider screening for coeliac disease

Your results indicate you have one or more symptoms or risk factors for coeliac disease.

We recommend that you make an appointment with your doctor to discuss screening for coeliac disease. The first step is a simple blood test. For the coeliac disease blood test to be accurate, you need to consume an adequate amount of gluten in your diet. If you have already reduced or removed gluten from your diet, it is important that you tell your doctor this as it will affect the approach taken to testing.

Coeliac disease can develop at any time, so testing may be considered in the future. If you have any health concerns, including any unexplained or persistent symptoms, please speak to your doctor.
