Hi – I am Ben, a 9-year-old who was diagnosed with coeliac when I was three years old. Before I was diagnosed some of the key symptoms (mine weren’t tummy related) were that I was very fatigued and when I woke up, I needed to go back to bed. Some of my other symptoms were an iron deficiency, and a higher chance of getting sick with colds and flus – I ended up in hospital really sick for a week with RSV. I also was more irritable, and I felt anxious.
